[TIPS] Brandt-Daroff Exercises to Relieve Vertigo - How to Overcome Vertigo
Brandt-Daroff exercise is known to help reduce the symptoms of vertigo caused by benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) or labyrinthitis.

This exercise will not cure vertigo but it can make the symptoms become less severe.

How to do the exercises

Sit upright on the edge of the bed and quickly change into a lying position on the side of the body. Remains lay until the taste or complaints of vertigo subsides.

If the complaint is still felt after 30 seconds, immediately change into a sitting position again.

If after doing this complaint does not go away, the exercise can be repeated up to 20 times.

Perform one or two series of exercises every day. At first it may be caused nausea, but in the end this exercise will help relieve the complaint.

Do not change position from sitting to lying down too quickly because the head can knock on a bed frame or injure the neck.

Keep your neck straight or in line with the spine while lying down so the neck is not bent. This means that when lying down, the entire head should be touching the mattress.

Brandt - Daroff exercises should be done for two to three weeks. Complaints of vertigo generally will decrease significantly after about 30 training sessions.

So, if this exercise is done twice a day means a person requires about 15 days. If you're doing it three times a day only takes 10 days.
